Hello! My name is Nohl and I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I am originally from Iowa but currently reside in Florida. I am a self-motivated, versatile artist who specializes in logo and layout design with a focus on digital and print distribution.When I am not creating art, I also enjoy:

Rainbow Engraving

I worked as a Lead Designer for a local engraving company creating custom graphics, designs, and layouts based on clients specifications and design briefs.

University of Iowa Graduate Journal

I designed a layout and typeset a 90+ paged magazine featuring previous graduates of the University of Iowa. File was prepared to be professionally printed.

J.Sik Studios Brand Identity

I was commissioned by local photographer, Josh, to create a brand identity for his photography business. Based on his specifications and feedback, I designed a logo for use on his website and social media pages, as well as a business card.

Field of Screams Poster

I was commissioned by independent film directors, Alix and Evan, to create a original poster to be used as a reward tier for their Kickstarter Campaign for their up and coming horror movie.

James and Josh Wedding Stationery

I was commissioned by my dear friends, James and Josh, to design the invites, save the date cards, and the seating chart for their wedding. Along with a subtle, unique design based around their Sailor Moon/Lord of the Rings themed wedding.

Every Bloomin' Thing Rebranding

I redesigned the logo of a local flower and plant store for use for their business card, reward card, floral arrangement menu, and Instagram page to help the business grow their brand.

Slurp a Bowl Ramen Shop

I designed key brand trademarks, a menu ordering system, and the layout for the website of a new local Ramen shop.

River City Housing Collective Logo

I redesigned the logo of a local nonprofit housing cooperative which was then approved by the organization’s Board of Directors. The design was adopted for use for their website, social media, t-shirts for community members, and a banner for farmer’s market advertisement.

Monthly Calendar Design

I created a concept of a 3D calendar design. I prepared files to be engraved and then assembled by hand. Inspired by designer Debbie Millman.
